Nettipattam (Elephant Caparison) is the traditional headgear worn by elephants during festivals in the Indian state of Kerala. Old age, the Nettipattam or the caparison, was only used during festivals in Hindu temples. But now, people of Kerala feel proud to have it's hand crafted mocks on the walls as a symbol of prosperity and strengh.
